Varty Camp

Londolozi

In the grey light that precedes the dawn, steam rises from the cup of your freshly brewed morning coffee. The water of the Sand River moves soundlessly below the Varty deck and omits peaceful steam into the cool daybreak air; somewhere in the Sand River’s depths sounds a hippo’s guttural like laughter, the air abounds with joyful morning chorus and the heady perfumes of the night blooms. Before the African sun breaks the horizon with its golden light, you will be off on your morning game drive – in hope of an enigmatic view of the wildlife of Londolozi’s infamous African bush. Another day dawns at Londolozi Varty Camp.
