The park takes its name from the Chobe River which sits on the Northern boundary. The area is teeming with wildlife and boasts rich vegetation, lush floodplains and scorched marshes. Game viewing is unparalleled as there is large concentrations of big game including exceptionally large lion prides and much much more. In addition Chobe really is a birder’s paradise with an abundance of species and some incredible sightings that await you on the river.
