Meet Lauren Fryer, our sales team member, colleague and friend.
Lauren is a born and bred South African who married into a bush-mad family. The African bush is entrenched in her family culture and really pulls at their heart strings as the sky is set on fire both morning and night. The spaces are vast and the cultures diverse. Lauren endeavours to instil an appreciation of the natural world into her children and she believes there is no better place than Africa to do this! Having explored South Africa and many of its neighbouring countries, she believes there is no greater vacation than an African Safari & Beach experience!
Favourite safari destination: Lauren has two! Having spent many days at Ngala Tented Camp during her university days, it holds a special place in her heart. This magnificent camp in the Timbavati captures your soul with its location and charm! The second is Botswana – one of the most incredible wilderness sanctuaries with its diverse landscapes: from the Kalahari Desert through great stretches of Mopane woodland to the delta itself, with kilometres of channels, islands and lagoons. It has large herds of elephant, beautiful cats, and enough variety in its bird-life to turn even the most dedicated big-mammal follower into a twitcher!
